Delivery Types

icom/400 is the industry’s leading monitoring and messaging system to deliver your notifications via several methods. icom/400's newest voice delivery types include:

	Outbound voice messages More on voice messages...

Attachments

You can now attach a spooled file to an e-mail as a PDF as well as a TXT attachment. All you have to do is specify the file you want to send and icom/400 will automatically generate and send your PDF attachment for you.

Monitors

icom/400's newest monitors or changes include:

	Job monitor (added job statuses)
	Spooled Files (added split information to be able to retrieve email addresses based in the spooled file to send specific pages. It also has the ability to call a program to retrieve the email address.
	Added the ability to allow omitted jobs in the JOB and CPU monitors.

Report Distribution

Added sending PDF attachments to the SNDSPLFICM, SNDMSGICM and SNDMAILICM commands. Also, added to the spooled file monitor.

Two-Way Communication

icom/400 outbound voice has the 2-way capabilities to answer messages from your land line or PCS phone. Icall/400 has the capability to call your System i back from your phone to list missed messages and run commands. Delivery

Some of the icom/400 delivery new features include:

	New feature to notify an administrator if an email delivery type message errors out.
	Added email bundling to recipient setup. Now you can send to multiple email addresses for one recipient name. This makes it possible to see all the email addresses in the header information instead of one at a time per message.
